
Celebrating 50 Years of Dedicated Service
Aileen Ridley, a dedicated nurse with an incredible 50-year career in the NHS, continues to inspire her colleagues and community with her unwavering commitment and passion for healthcare. Beginning her journey on August 10, 1974, Aileen has worked tirelessly to support the residents at Prudhoe Hospital and Prudhoe House, contributing to the well-being of countless individuals over the decades.
Despite being seventy-four Aileen shows no intention of retiring. Her dedication to her profession and the residents she cares for is nothing short of exemplary. Throughout her five-decade career, she has taken minimal sick days, highlighting her commitment and resilience.
To mark this extraordinary milestone, on behalf of Prudhoe Town Council Mayor Angie Scott presented Aileen with a bouquet of flowers and expressed ”Aileen’s remarkable career is a shining example of dedication and perseverance in the nursing profession. Her commitment over the past five decades not only highlights her personal strength but also reflects the incredible impact she has made on so many lives. We are thrilled to celebrate this milestone and honour her extraordinary contributions along with family members and work colleagues.”
Aileen’s family is immensely proud of her accomplishments and her continued dedication to the nursing profession. Among the celebratory gifts she received, Aileen was also presented with an NHS plaque, which honours her remarkable achievement.
Aileen is currently a valued member of the team at Prudhoe House, South Road, the facility is provided and run by Community Integrated Care.
