Could you be our next Race Director?

Prudhoe Town Council has commissioned the Prudhoe Miners Race since its re-birth in 2012 as a legacy of the 2012 London Olympics, during which time Essity (formally SCA) have partnered with us as our official race sponsor. Prudhoe Plodders were the race organisers from 2019 to 2023, subsequently Wild Deer Events took on this role in 2024.

We would like the event to take place on Sunday 31 August 2025, often when it is still warm.

If you are interested in running this event, please provide details of your suitability and competence, including reference to any similar events; inspire us with your ideas!

If you have not delivered an event before we would still like to hear from you and how you feel you could meet the brief.
