Prudhoe Town Council Elects Chair and Vice-Chair for the Coming Year

Prudhoe Town Council confirmed several key appointments for the year ahead following its Annual Meeting of the Council held last night.

Councillor Dot Dickinson was elected as Chair/Mayor of the Council and will lead Full Council meetings over the coming year.

Following her appointment, Councillor Dickinson expressed her pride at being elected and thanked fellow councillors for their support. Bringing with her a strong commitment to the local community, Councillor Dickinson spoke of her deep pride in her hometown and her enthusiasm for continuing to serve the residents of Prudhoe and Mickley.

Councillor Dickinson will undertake her first official engagement as Mayor at Highfield Fest, taking place on Saturday 30 May 2026.

Councillor Jonathan Wheeler was elected as Vice-Chair of the Council and will support Cllr Dickinson in her role throughout the coming year.
