Prudhoe Town Council Election Results

Firstly, we extend our heartfelt thanks to all Councillors who served during the previous term but will not be returning. Your dedication and commitment to Prudhoe and its residents have been deeply valued, and the time and effort you invested will leave a lasting legacy in our community.

Congratulations to those Councillors who have been re-elected, and a warm welcome to our newly elected members. In the coming months, we look forward to working together as we navigate both change and new challenges.

We also wish to acknowledge all candidates who stood for election but were not successful this time. Your willingness to put yourselves forward in service of the community reflects a strong sense of civic duty and commitment. A healthy democracy relies on engaged individuals like you, and your participation is greatly appreciated. We hope you will remain actively involved in local matters, as there are many meaningful ways to contribute outside of elected office.

On behalf of Prudhoe Town Council, we would like to express our sincere thanks to the Elections Team at Northumberland County Council for their outstanding work. The smooth and efficient running of our local democratic process is a credit to their dedication, especially during such a busy election period.

All newly elected and returning Councillors will be invited to the Town Council office to sign their Acceptance of Office ahead of the Annual Meeting of the Council, scheduled for 15th May 2025. This meeting will mark the first formal gathering of our new Council, and we look forward to working together in service of the people of Prudhoe
