FREE Summer Sunday Swims at Prudhoe Waterworld – Funded by Prudhoe Town Council

This Summer, Prudhoe Town Council in partnership with Places Leisure is making a splash by funding free swim sessions at Prudhoe Waterworld for the local community.

The initiative aims to encourage residents of all ages to enjoy swimming, stay active, and make the most of the summer holidays without the barrier of cost.

Event Details:

• Dates: Sunday 19^th, 26^th July, 2^nd, 9^th, 16^th, 23^rd & 30^th August 2026
• Time: 4:00pm – 5:00pm
• Venue: Prudhoe Waterworld, Front Street, Prudhoe, NE42 5DQ
• Capacity: 75 places per session, first come, first served – no booking required.

Swimming is more than a sport – it’s pure fun! Dive in, feel weightless, and enjoy a full-body workout that keeps your heart healthy, your muscles strong, and your mind refreshed, all without putting stress on your joints.

Following last year’s success, we’re delighted to offer this opportunity for the community to come together, have fun, and keep fit. Swimming is a great activity for all ages, and we’re proud to be able to provide these sessions for free.

Residents are encouraged to arrive early to avoid disappointment, as spaces are limited.
