Planned Street Lighting Works – Railway Crossing Station Road Prudhoe, 14th September 2022
PLANNED START DATE – 14th September 2022 overnight only
As part of the ongoing investment in Street Lighting across the County, Northumberland County Council have planned works due to start at the following location, and will involve the removal of an existing street lighting column presently installed on Network Rail land at the above:
- Station Road Prudhoe – at Railway Crossing approaching Ovingham Bridge
The works will involve the removal of an existing street lighting column and will take place overnight from 11.30pm on the 14th of September. This will involve the closure of Ovingham Bridge, and the closure of the railway line after the last service has passed through Prudhoe Station. It is expected that all road restrictions will be lifted before 4.00am on 15th September.
Due to the imposed working restrictions, the works must take place out of hours.
Traffic Management will be in place and all routes from the working site will be sign posted as such.
