Town Council Grant Aid 2020/21
REMINDER of approaching closing date…
Grant Aid decisions for the current financial year, expected to be taken in April 2020, were put on hold at the outset of the coronavirus pandemic.
Those groups who had applied, were advised of the Council’s decision and that applications in response to the pandemic could be received separately, in the interim period. Funding of £6,000 was paid out of the Grant Aid Budget and £5,562 from the Youth Provision Budget.
Prudhoe Town Council remain committed to financially supporting community groups and organisations and would like to agree further awards of Grant Aid for the remainder of the financial year.
The Council appreciate that of those applications already received, some groups may wish to withdraw the funding request for this financial year or amend their application in conjunction with changed plans.
The Council has also considered that the coronavirus pandemic may have changed the landscape for many community groups and organisations, and as a result is also inviting new applications for Grant Aid in the current financial year.
Please be clear that all amended and new applications must be for running costs/projects for which funding will be spent in the current financial year, therefore before April 2021.
Applications must be received by Friday 11th September.
