If you are interested in standing for Election you can request a Nomination Pack from the Town Council office or County Hall Elections Office. Alternatively, packs can be downloaded and printed from the Town Council website, where there is also further information. Visit the Elections News Page.
You MUST hand deliver nominations to an Elections Office. The last date for papers being handed in at Hexham is 7th April (by 4:00pm) and at County Hall on 8th April (4:00pm). You are advised to book an appointment to have papers checked.
The statement of persons nominated will be published on Friday 9th April. At this point, we will know if there is to be an election in any of the Town Council wards.
